The Mariko

The Mariko is a fishing boat owned by fishermen Valentine & Hilde, a lovely Canadian couple. Shortly after this picture was taken, they threw us some of their catch of the day - four almost live Rock Cod. The boat is equiped with 4 fish tanks. Keeping the fish alive from when they were caught until they are served on the dinner table of a Chinese in Vancouver.
