Dodds Narrow

The Dodds Narrow is a narrow passage between Gabriola Island and the Vancouver Island. Sometimes, the current is so strong such that an underpowered boat would go backwards if one doesn't catch the current at the right time. However, this can be avoided by reading the tides and current charts properly :-).
